• Account information: Email address, used for authentication via magic link sign-in.
• Business listing data: Business name, address, phone number, website, hours, photos, and service categories provided by business owners who claim or create listings.
• Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.

Business Data from Public Sources

Indy Beauty indexes beauty businesses from publicly available sources including business registries, public websites, and directories. Business owners may claim their listing at any time to update or remove their information.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Database hosting and file storage.
• Resend: Transactional email delivery (magic links, notifications).
• Stripe: Payment processing for subscription plans.

Each service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

Cookies

We use the following cookies:

• Session token (indy.session-token): Maintains your authenticated session.
• CSRF token: Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks.

We do not currently use any analytics or advertising tracking cookies.

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your account and maintain your session.
• To display and manage business listings in the directory.
• To process subscription payments.
• To send transactional emails (sign-in links, claim notifications).

Data Retention

Account and listing data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
